Vicki Brabham has enjoyed being part of the Lane Music faculty for a decade. During that time, she currently instructs Group Piano, and has re-vitalized the Gospel Choir after its 20 year absence in the curriculum. Vicki's broad professional experiences give her added value to students, as her resume includes everything from musical theatre conducting, jazz band, church accompaniment & directing, arranging (excelling in use of Finale software), and vocal coaching. Her particular interest in popular, jazz, and movie music help her teaching style remain relevant, creative, and flexible. Her Individual Lesson students appreciate her openness, guidance, and inspiration. She is currently on faculty with The Shedd Institute Community music school, accompanies the Women's Choral Society, and serves as staff musician at First Congregational Church. Recently, she boasts meeting composing legend Burt Bacharach, and being invited to play for the first time with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra under the baton of popular Conductor Emeritus, Marin Alsop. "I just keep saying yes, and it continues to lead me into new & challenging situations where I'm always stretched and kept fresh as a performer".
